He's been called your favorite comedians "favorite comedian"! A "true comedians comedian"! Jamal Doman is quickly becoming one of the industry's most sought-after comics. However this isn't any overnight celebrity type of story. This journey started 11 years ago in his hometown of Philadelphia. After being inspired by such greats as Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, and Richard Pryor, Jamal started entering local talent shows and perfecting his craft at the few comedy clubs around town. Soon he became one of the top comedians in the city. In 1997 Jamal moved his act to Los Angeles. Shortly after he was performing on such television shows as BET ComicView, SiTV Latino Laugh Festival, The Magic Hour, Showtime At The Apollo, and BET's OH DRAMA. Jamal also showed his acting talents on such shows as "Unsolved Mysteries", "Arrest & Trial", and SpikeTV "Oblivious"!

And the future looks even brighter! Jamal has just released his long overdue debut album, "Based On A True Story". Look for more of his articles in publications nationwide. There are also film and television projects in the works. And Jamal will continue touring the world performing his comedy material. Says Jamal, "This ride has been incredible so far and I'm just going to keep riding it till the end"!
